PROJECT GOAL :
The client wanted to create a digital signage network to communicate corporate information to its mobile employees. These employees do not have access to a desktop workstation and therefore do not receive email nor do they have access to the corporate intranet site. With that in mind, the client did not want to have to create duplicate information either, for both the intranet and the digital signage network. Integration with their enterprise-wide databases was also very important to the customer.
The initial project comprised a total of 8 screens in 5 different terminals around Quebec. Content updates are done via the X2O portal, SharePoint and various company databases. Information such as employee work anniversaries, birthdays, activities, the number of days without accidents, events and important messages for the employees are displayed on the screens.
